21 April - Over 50,000 Chinese roses of a hundred and more varieties are competing in blossoms in a riot of colors, shortly after Grain Rain (the 6th solar term) at the very garden in Shihua Square, Hangzhou. The flowers, expected to come into their heyday during the May 1st holiday, meet the onslaught of citizens and shutterbugs for appreciation and fun.
