[Photo/zjol.com.cn] A video of a high school student from Yuhang district, Hangzhou using his break time to knit a scarf has gone viral, local media reported on Dec 16. In the video, the boy was recorded shyly saying that the scarf was meant as gift for his mother. The video has generated many colorful discussions online. A netizen known as "zhuangzhoumengdie" suggested the boy become a dentist in the future as many students of stomatology used to knit to sharpen their skills. Some netizens also wondered if the scarf was meant for a girl he likes instead of his mother. But Wang Shuli, the president of the school, has helped the boy clarify the situation by saying that the scarf will be presented as a birthday gift to the mother. The mother had reportedly accompanied her son to buy the knitting wool and tools required. The boy's Chinese teacher said that she decided to record the video as she was drawn by how focused he was when knitting the scarf, which reminded her of her school days. |
