An antiterrorism publicity event and the award ceremony of the First Zhejiang teenage Antiterrorism Composition Competition kicked off on Nov 14 in Zhejiang's Yiwu. Organized by the Counter-terrorism Leading Team Office of Zhejiang Province and Department of Education of Zhejiang, the event features a special open-day of the police battalion, with various high-precision police equipment and police dogs showing up on the school campus. The awarding ceremony of the first Zhejiang Province Primary and Secondary School Students' anti-terrorism composition competition was also held on the same day with the debut of the selective works. According to the organizers, over 10,000 students have participated in the contest, and some sketches and microfilms staged during the ceremony were adapted from the competition articles. 2020 marks the first anniversary of Zhejiang's implementation of China's Counter Terrorism Law, and the participation from school participation is highly necessary to constructing an all-people antiterrorism pattern.
