A total of 434 pieces of works from students at 57 colleges, including Zhejiang University, Tongji University, Henan University, East China Normal University, and Shixin University are selected for the 2nd Gold Swan Film Festival in Hangzhou.

The opening ceremony of the 2nd Gold Swan Film Festival and Original video contest was held in Zhejiang Experimental Art Theater. The festival will last for 5 days.

The film festival is a platform that is built for communication and learning of video works produced by college students. This film festival added a short video unit and short film script unit on the basis of the original short film unit, photography unit, film and television project incubation unit, light show unit and sound engineering design unit. At the same time, the short film unit also received film works from the New York Academy of Visual Arts.

The festival special invited Lu Haibo (professor at Central Academy of Drama), Shi Chuan (professor at Shanghai Theatre Academy), Zhou Xinxia (professor at Beijing Film Academy), Wang Wenke (Expert judges of the Chinese Journalism Awards and the Yangtze Taofen Award), Liang Hansen (National first-class artist), Su Qing (independent documentary director), and other experts and scholars in film and television industry.

The film festival provides young filmmakers with close access to cutting-edge information of the film and television industry in the new era, broadens their horizons, and comprehensively improves their professional skills.
