An array of smart cabinets have emerged across Hangzhou as the concept of "contact-less pickup" goes viral amid the epidemic.

Deliverymen put takeaways into the cabinet which is equipped with heat-preservation devices and ultraviolet disinfection lamps, and send messages to inform the customers to pick up their meals. The pickup message will be sent again if the customers have not shown up in one to two hours. 

Developed by Hangzhou Xianyue Tech, 128 takeaway cabinets have been installed in official buildings across Hangzhou.

Besides, the smart cabinets with the function of a refrigerator also become prevalent. 

Hangzhou's Jianggan District intends to set over 100 self-pickup stations with these cabinets. Also, the supermarket chain Bravo has developed a smart cabinet for temporary storage of fresh foods.
