From Nov 11, 11 parking lots at West Lake and Xixi Wetland scenic area of Hangzhou removed the parking gates at the entrances and exits with new parking system.

When a vehicle enters the parking lot, the system will beep to remind the driver to reduce the waiting time, recognize the license plate, and begin to time. Drivers can pay for the parking charge via multiple means, such as mobile payment, ETC and senseless parking, and also the non-inductive parking system. A message will also be sent to remind the driver of settling the payment.

Before Dec 12, the new parking system will be applied to over 60 parking lots in the two scenic areas.
