Two Manchurian catalpa trees, aged over 500 years, are regarded as the most beautiful ancient trees in Hangzhou. Located in the Dongyue Temple of Wushan Scenic Spots, the two trees blossom in late April every year. The best appreciating time is around one week, and now it's the best time to enjoy the flowers. Catalpa bungei, commonly known as Manchurian catalpa, is a species of catalpa native to China. The flowers are arranged in a corymb and are densely spotted with pink.
