Keigo Higashino,the Japanese author chiefly known for his mystery novels won the 31st Edogawa Rampo Prize in 1985 for his novel After School. Now a drama adapted from the novel will be staged in Hangzhou.

The story happened in a women’s high school. In the changing room of the school, a teacher died of hydrocyanic acid poisoning. Criminal suspects appeared one after another, including a problem child who invited the teacher to a trip of only two, a beautiful girl, the captain of the kendo club of the school, and the captain of the archery club who once picked up the teacher. After that, the second murder happened in the costume procession. Maejima, a teacher in the high school, is under suspicion. However, several days later, Maejima was injured in a traffic accident. Mysteries arised one after another, who is the murderer?

The production team took a year to convert the secret chamber of the novel from text to draw. A real school scene will be staged in the theater.
