On October 22, the opening ceremony of the 11th Exhibition of Collection Works of Famous Arab Ceramics in China was launched in Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum.

The "Sense China" exhibition of Arab artists visiting China sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China has been held for the 11th year since 2009. It is also an important cultural communication project under the framework of China-Arab cooperation BBS.

The Xiang Lake is the earliest birthplace of slow-wheel pottery and colored pottery in China, and also one of the important origins of celadon, which has witnessed the development history of Chinese ceramic art.

Abdelkrim Faical Hemaidat from Algeria combines Arabic calligraphy with Chinese painting. The pottery works of Sudanese artist Haidar Abdelghadir demonstrate Chinese and Arab cultures through different ceramics’s compositions, decorations and techniques.
