In strict compliance with what is provided in Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, Management Committee of West Lake Scenic Spot highlights preservation of the overriding importance with severe conduction, for more brilliance of the site. Cultural Landscape of West Lake became inscribed on the list of World Heritage Sites at the Session of the World Heritage Committee in Paris on 24 June 2011.
