Jointly held by Jiangxi Research Institute of Ceramics and Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum, the exhibition, featuring the 70th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China, will present celadon art from different historical periods of the country and how they have evolved throughout the past seven decades. The Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum is a cultural landmark of Xianghu Lake Scenic Area who possesses a unique advantage in ceramic history and culture. In the future, Xianghu will strive to promote the production, research and research of ceramics to the world by combining ceramic culture and tourism industry, said an official from the museum. The exhibition is expected to gather a group of creative minds and art talents to Xianghu, a land with long history of ceramics and make it a cultural IP of Hangzhou, thus giving a boost to regional industrial development. Located on Meishan island of Xianghu Scenic Area where many well-preserved heritage sites are situated, the Zhejiang Modern Ceramic Art Museum is the only provincial-level art museum in modern ceramic in Zhejiang province.
