The 2^nd Hangzhou Grand Canal World Heritage Protection and Awareness Week opened last night. The organizer has solicited a “Contemporary Marco Polo Mission” to visit six major heritage sites of Hangzhou section of the Grand Canal following the track of the history, aiming to raise people’s awareness of world heritage protection.
