Hangzhou: 36.8°C on the Day of Summer Solstice

Many tourists gathered in front of the West Lake Music Fountain at Hubin Park under the hot sun yesterday afternoon to watch the beautiful water dance. It was Summer Solstice yesterday, a day with the longest daytime in the Northern Hemisphere. The highest temperature of Hangzhou soared to 36.8°C, making it the hottest day so far and enabling the “hot summer mode” in this summer.
