The Story of “Grey Whale” Specimen in Zhejiang Museum of Natural History

Skeletal specimen of grey whale – the most precious collection of Zhejiang Museum of Natural History, a provincial museum of natural history, is a treasure “picked up” by an appreciator through twists and turns after being “discarded” 80 years ago by an American merchant. It “travelled” from place to place in the province along with three times of relocation of the Museum during the 80 years.
