Zhejiang calligraphy is spreading from school to folklore and from high-end to general public.

    On Dec. 19, a grand exhibition of calligraphy works created by common people was open in Hangzhou and nearly 300 Zhejiang farmer calligraphers made their debut together in the highest-level art palace by attending the united China Dream • Rural Trip-Zhejiang Calligraphy Village Works Exhibition hosted by the Propaganda Department of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Zhejiang Literary Federation, and organized by Zhejiang Calligrapher Association. Many farmers who have never traveled beyond their hometown mountains stepped onto this great art stage.
