Salvador Dali is the most representative Spanish surrealist master in the twentieth century. He is a master figure of surrealism. Together with Picasso, Matisse, the three of them are considered as the most representative three artists of the twentieth century. Chinese audiences are familiar with Daly. His works has been on display several times in China.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Salvador Dali's passing away, and to commemorate the great modern artists, the West Lake Art Fair was opened yesterday. It invited the Foundation of French Dali Museum/STRATTON Foundation and Museum of Dali's works to display 132 pieces of Dali's works in Hangzhou.

From November 19 to 23, the Twelfth (2009) West Lake Art Fair in Hangzhou Peace International Convention and Exhibition Center invited more than 100 domestic and foreign well-known art institutions and a large number of well-known artists to come to the exhibition. These agencies and famous artists are from the United States, Italy, France, Spain, Russia, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong and the provinces and cities on the Mainland, displaying nearly ten thousand pieces of original artwork.
