More than 19,000 job vacancies in the areas of machinery, electronic information, communication technology, the internet, computers, biology, environmental protection and trade were offered by some 800 employers. Regarded as a wind vane of other recruitment fairs during the year and a grand gathering of talents, the fair attracted over 19,300 job seekers, most of whom are graduates who just started in the work force. "Hangzhou now is an emerging first-tier city, which boasts not only beautiful landscape, but also a desirable business climate and entrepreneurial atmosphere,” said an applicant, adding that there are numerous opportunities and development prospects in the city. As the recruitment peak follows the Spring Festival holiday, another 23 recruitment activities, including some for overseas talents, will be held in March. |
