The 2019 Hangzhou Lin'an Half Marathon will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on April 14, according to a news conference held on Feb 22.

Starting from Feb 22, official registration for this year's marathon is available on both the official website and WeChat.

Hosted by the people's government of Lin'an district, the 2019 Hangzhou Lin'an Half Marathon will hold the same set of events as seen in the past few years, including a half marathon (21.1 kilometers), a healthy run (8 kilometers) and a family run (3 kilometers).

For the sake of ensuring an enjoyable experience and the safety of runners, the marathon will be equipped with sufficient food and medical services. There will be a water drinking station every two kilometers and the organizers have arranged the service of 10 ambulances, a helicopter, nine first aid stations, and three designated hospitals.

The top 300 runners will qualify for the Hangzhou Marathon 2019.

To further lift the profile of the half marathon, an array of tourism activities will be arranged in April.
