Twenty students from China and France gathered for a forum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, to discuss the innovative use of unused land in urban area on Dec 17.

Focusing on digital life and future space, the event, organized by China Academy of Art (CAA), attracted students to share their research findings over the past three months on five projects.

"The unused land could be turned into green space so that local residents can enjoy more beautiful scenery in the neighborhood," said Jean-Alex Quach, one of the students from CAA.
