[Photo/zjol.com.cn] While the world's attention has been fixed on the Fifth World Internet Conference (WIC), cutting-edge technology products from Hangzhou, the capital of East China's Zhejiang province, were among star attractions at the Light of the Internet Exposition, an important part of the annual conference. At the expo, ArcSoft, a global leader in imaging intelligence technology, showcased its intelligent camera which features portrait background separation technology, 3D expression cloning and intelligent gesture recognition. Through simple steps, users can produce a photo with background showing the water town of Wuzhen instead of the real background thanks to artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Other innovative applications at the expo include an AI-enabled smart cart that transports exhibitors' supplies. With a load capacity of 30 kilograms, the service robot can be widely applied in airport and hotel baggage handling, as a supermarket shopping guide and in other delivery services, according to a staff member at Zhejiang Utry Information Technology Co Ltd. As a prelude to the Fifth World Internet Conference, the four-day expo demonstrates innovative cutting-edge internet applications and how technological advances are reshaping people's daily lives and work. More than 430 enterprises and institutions from 25 countries and regions are showcasing their latest products in the glitzy exhibition center.
