Every summer Hangzhou swimming lovers are expecting the annual Qiantang River Crossing activity. The organizing committee announced at the briefing yesterday that the activity will start on 18^th August this year. The application submitting will start on 25^th July.

This activity has attracted many swimming lovers since 2006, the year when it was re-held. The number of participants is limited in consideration of security. This year the number will be limited within 1,500.
