Dig for Lotus Roots in Winter

Just as the saying goes: “Pick lotus seeds in summer and dig for lotus roots in winter”. SUN from Fuyuan Village, Xincheng Town, Xiuzhou District, Jiaxing is busy working in his lotus root pond which has an area of over 300 mu, soaking half of his body in the mud. Thanks to those lotus root diggers, we are able to taste delicious lotus roots on the table.
