Instead, you should wait till the bird thinks it is safe. Then you can take picture. Or else, it will fly away. Maybe it won’t fly back for the whole day. So I waited for a while and then walked towards my camera. I adjusted my Russian 1000 lens with my left hand and pressed down the shutter with my right hand when the bird was in the area of the focus.”
