Leading by one point heading into the final period, Zhejiang outscored Jiangsu 37-18 during the next 12-minute span to round off its third consecutive victory. Sylven Landesberg finished with a game-high 32 points for Zhejiang. Zhu Xuhang fired six 3-pointers for 23 points. Liu Zeyi scored nine of 11 points in the last quarter. Captain Wu Qian was held to four points on 2-of-14 shooting, while dishing out eight assists. Brandon Paul scored seven straight points off the bench to power Zhejiang ahead 25-22 as the first quarter ran out. Zhu's four-point play was the highlight in a second period that was often halted by fouls, and Zhejiang managed a 51-45 half-time lead. Landesberg's four points in a row earned Zhejiang a 10-point margin back from the locker room, but a late surge saw Jiangsu pull back to one behind at 68-67 after three quarters. Zhu's 3-pointer put Zhejiang up by 17 points, and Liu followed in with a basket, giving little room for Jiangsu to make a comeback. Six Jiangsu players scored in double figures, led by Devin Williams' 19. Wu Guanxi added 12. Zhejiang will next face the Shandong Heroes, while Jiangsu takes on the Shanxi Loongs. Enditem |
