Alipay bridges digital divide in seniors
en.hangzhou.com.cn 2020/12/02 15:00 City Express

Alipayhas recently rolled out the so-called “Xiao Mian Ao”(small puffer coat) project to empower the digital literacy of seniors.

Besides the platform, which is loaded with contents on teaching them how to access essential online services, such as scheduling a medical appointment and hailing a cab, Xiao Mian Ao is expanding its digital inclusion effortsin providing hotline services and face-to-face teaching in HZ’s communities.

In fact, this is not the first time Alipay attempted to bridge the digital divide. Earlier this year, the Alipay Elderly College’s program, which guides seniors, step by step, on how to swipe, tap, and move between a phone screen, was well-received among the older people.
