The roadbed, tunnel, bridge, road, electrical andother constructions of the Chun'an section of Qiandaohu-Huangshan Expressway have been basically completed on Nov 10 and the expressway will be officially opened to traffic this December.

Qianhuang Expressway is an important part of the G4012 Liyang to Ningde National Expressway. The Chun'an section starts near Taling at the border of Zhejiang and Anhui Provinces, and ends at Qiandao Lake Branchof the Hangzhou-Xin'anjiang-Jingning Expressway,with a total length of 51.422 kilometers.

When completed, the Qiandaohu-Huangshan Expressway will be the first interprovincial highway that reaches Chun'an and connectsix areas inChun'an Countyincluding Weiping Town, SongcunTownship, Jinfeng Township, Zuokou Township, Qiandao Lake Town, and Qingxi New Town.

Through this way, it will take only 1 hour to drive fromthe Qiandao Lake tothe Yellow Mountain, and it will take about 3 hours to drive from downtown Hangzhouto the Yellow Mountain, which will form a cuircle of three 5A-level national scenic spots including the West Lake, the Qiandao Lake, and the Yellow Mountain.
