The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 announced its preparation progress at the third China International Import Expo (CIIE) on Nov 6.

The Games will be held from Sept 10-25, 2022 and preparations for the Games in the city are in full swing.On Sept 22, Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee(HAGOC)unveiled the sports pictograms for40 sports and 59 disciplines.

Construction on 42 of the 58 venues and auxiliary facilities for the Games, which represent more than 85 percent of the total construction work, will be completed by the end of 2020.

Co-hosting cities in Zhejiang, including Wenzhou, Ningbo and Huzhou, are to support the Games with accelerated construction on sports venues.All 45 competition venues are expected to be built by March 2021, according to HAGOC.

As of today, the event has established partnerships with nineenterprises, including e-commerce giant Alibaba Group, auto manufacturer Geely Group, and China Pacific Insurance Company who was signed as the Games' official insurance service provider on Nov 5.

The official slogan of the Games is "heart to heart, @future", which was announced in December 2019. It reflects that in the digital era, people from all over the Asian continent are connected with each other.
