The left-line tunnelling shield busting out of the soil at the entrance & exit depot line of Xinwan Station, Qiantang New Area on 8th November marked the overall tunnelling of Phase I of Line 8. Passing through the Qiantang River at more than 2,800m, the line has created a new record for the longest river-passing distance in Hangzhou.
