During the eight-day holiday for the Mid-autumn Day and the National Day, volunteers were seen everywhere at competition venues, traffic junctions and cultural and expo sites and in scenic spots, stations and other places in Hangzhou by virtue of the careful arrangement of the Youth League Committees of districts and countries (cities) in Hangzhou and all voluntary service organizations directly under Hangzhou Municipality and social welfare organizations. It is estimated that volunteers of more than 80,000 person-time provided services in the city, and 32,000 volunteers were active on October 1 alone.
