7.7 million Chinese medical workers to enjoy free admission to 100 scenic spots nationwide
en.hangzhou.com.cn 2020/04/22 15:40 Zhejiang Online

On April 20, the "Angel Code", which enables nationwide medical workers to visit around 100 scenic spots in China for free, has been co-launched by Zhejiang Tourism Group and Alipay.

Faced with the sudden outbreak of COVID19, a large number of medical workers responded immediately to help relieve the outbreak. Zhejiang Tourism Group with the Provincial State-owned Tourism Group Alliance and the members of the State-owned Tourism Group Alliance of Zhejiang Province, therefore, initiated a public welfare campaign to propose that medical workers can visit scenic spots free of charge.

This campaign has been actively supported by the tourism industry across the country. However, there are still some problems to be solved, such as the low efficiency, complex process and poor experience of identity verification, and so on. Zhejiang Tourism Group cooperated with Alipay to research and develop a new approach to address such problems. Medical workers can get their "Angel Code" by simply searching for "Angel Code" on Alipay and submitting their identification cards.
