AliHealth's AI System Adopted in Japan
en.hangzhou.com.cn 2020/04/07 15:12 City Express

In early February, Alibaba Group's research and innovation institute DAMO Academy developed an AI-enabled system that could diagnose COVID-19 in 20 seconds with 96% accuracy.

The advanced technology has been applied to over 160 hospitals all over the country and has helped over 340,000 cases.

It is now introduced to Japan, helping the country to fend off the outbreak of the epidemic.

The AI system is developed for tracking treatment responses in confirmed cases and providing diagnoses for suspected cases. The system can also fill in the gaps and provide additional diagnostic precision when there are not enough CT scans available.

Over 20 technology media, including GlotechTrend, Gunosy, Infoseek, just to name a few, has covered the futuristic AI system.
