A plane carrying 68 passengers took off from the Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport on the morning of March 29 and arrived in Yichang city, Hubei province, after nearly two hours. This is the first flight from Hangzhou to Hubei province since the lockdown ended.

A plane numbered JD5671 carrying 170 passengers also took off from the Enshi airport in Hubei and landed safely in Hangzhou at noon the same day.

According to a notice released by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, all domestic passenger flights in Hubei province, except for those bound for Wuhan Tianhe Airport, resumed operations from March 29.

In response to the notice, Beijing Capital Airlines resumed its flights to Hubei province on March 29.

Passengers can visit the official website of Beijing Capital Airlines or call the service hotline at 95375 to book tickets.

According to the announcement made by Beijing Capital Airlines, the airlines will take strict measures to sterilize the planes and staff members to reduce risk.

The airlines also reminded passengers to wear masks for the duration of the flight, have their temperatures checked, and report their health conditions.
