On November 17, Hangzhou held a conference on building a low-carbon city. Wang Guoping, member of Zhejiang Provincial Standing Committee and Secretary of Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee said at the meeting, "Hangzhou has achieved 10,000 dollars' GDP per capita. And then, what model will we use to achieve 20,000 U.S. dollars' GDP per capita or even 40,000 U.S. dollars? Climate warming is challenging Hangzhou, so let us re-examine our way of economic development"

Hangzhou is to pioneer in the country to build six-in-one low-carbon model (as pictured), making a policy on the low-carbon city as soon as possible.
