The length sum of the two railways is 580.8 kilometers (351.589 kilometers are in Zhejiang province). They are mainly high-speed passenger carriers. The highest speed of train set with power car is 250 kilometers per hour. The shortest period taken from Ningbo to Wenzhou will be shortened from the current 20 hours to the shortest possible time of 2 hours and 41 minutes. Shanghai to Fuzhou will take the shortest possible time of 5 hours and 38 minutes from the current 17 hours. Hangzhou to Fuzhou will take the shortest possible time of 4 hours from the current 9 hours. Hangzhou to Wenzhou will take the shortest possible time of 3 hours and 17 minutes from the current 7 hours and 40 minutes.
