Hurun Research Institute, jointly with WTOIP, an IP and innovation platform, released China AI Industry IP Development White Paper 2019 on Nov.13.

This report analyzes the artificial intelligence industry-map, the corresponding key technologies and the context of their respective patent development, the changes of artificial intelligence technology and industry, and the comparative study of the layout of artificial intelligence technology at home and abroad.

The report also shapes the "2019 Top 100 list of intellectual property Competitiveness of Chinese artificial Intelligence Enterprises" according to the Knowledge quotient value, innovation ability, and technology maturity. According to the list, Huawei, Tencent, Baidu, Xiaomi, Alibaba, HikVision, iFLYTEK, Sogou, State Grid Corporation of China and TAL(Tomorrow Advancing Life) were ranked the top 10 on the IP Competitiveness. 55 Beijing-based companies, 14 Shenzhen-based companies, and 13 Shanghai-based companies are listed. Four Hangzhou companies were selected on the list, among which Alibaba and HikVision were ranked top 10.
