The industrial internet is giving new impetus to industrial transformation and upgrading, and Xiaoshan district in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province is among the areas riding the wave of change it creates. The 2019 China Industrial Data Conference Qiantang Summit opened in Xiaoshan on May 7, gathering around 1,200 experts and bigwigs in industrial internet, big data and intelligent manufacturing. The industrial internet refers to a network of combined, advanced machines with Internet-connected sensors and big-data analytics. It is designed to boost the productivity, efficiency and reliability of industrial production. The China (Hangzhou) Industrial Internet Park was unveiled at the conference. Covering an area of 3.8 hectares, the park will focus on four major sectors involving industrial internet networks, platforms, security and services. |
