A direct cargo aircraft full of mails from Hangzhou to Novosibirsk took its maiden flight at Xiaoshan International Airport on the early morning of 11^th August, 2017. Large quantities of mails have been sent to Russia from the airport ever since then.

It is said that Zhejiang’s total transaction volume of E-commerce trade through the cargo aircraft heading to Russia during the past year reached 266,000,000 dollars according to the quantity of mails and the average value of Russia-oriented cross-border export commodity.

ZHANG Yao, general manager ofEMS Zhejiang Branch, said that Zhejiang will strengthen the cooperation with “Belt and Road” countries and regions and expand cooperative channels, so as to support the cross-border trade between the two sides.
