People across China celebrated National Day on Tuesday with enchanting fireworks and light shows.
In Hangzhou, capital city of east China's Zhejiang Province, 1,500 drones took off at the same time at Jinshahu Park, showing audiences various National Day-themed patterns.
A light show along the Yangtze River was staged in Wuhan, capital city of central China's Hubei Province that night. Buildings and bridges along the Yangtze River were lit up.
At an ancient village in Huangshan, east China's Anhui Province, a fish lantern night parade was performed here. Tourists held fish lanterns parade in the village, enjoyed fireworks, and spent the National Day holiday together.
A National Day-themed fireworks show was on display in Nanchang, capital city of east China's Jiangxi Province, attracting many residents and tourists to watch.
Hong Kong Special Administrative Region also held a fireworks show on Tuesday night as one of a series of events to celebrate National Day. Residents and tourists thronged both sides of the Victoria Harbor for the show, which was estimated to attract around 330,000 spectators. Fireworks shaped like green bamboo leaves followed to echo the arrival of a pair of giant pandas last week gifted by the central government and the twin cubs born in Hong Kong in August.
