The "Digital Library of Ancient Books" of China Academy of Art was launched on October 28. The first phase of the library consists of two special libraries, namely "Collection of prints" and "Inscription rubbings". It collects 2,153 volumes of prints and inscription rubbings along with more than 124,000 images for browsing on the campus network.

"Digital Library of Ancient Books" is the first achievement of digitization of ancient books in the library. It is also another progress in digitization construction of characteristic document resource clusters in the library. In the future, the library will continue to launch research and teaching exhibitions of all kinds of characteristic literature so as to build a service platform integrating display, teaching and discussion for the construction of the "second classroom".
