On Dec. 4, the first plum blossom of the year in Xixi National Wetland Park was spotted near Zhoujia Village.

This plumis of the Armeniaca mume Sieb, known locally as Xixi plum.

In the Qing Dynasty, the Xixi plum was one of the18 scenes of West Lake.At present, in the Xixi Wetland Park, there are more than 50 acresof plum forest, with a total of over 20,000 trees.

In February and March every year, plum blossoms are in full bloom, and the XixiWetland Parkturns into a sea of flowers.
