A rich and extremely comprehensive cultural exhibition featuring the Silk Road opened in Hangzhou, in Zhejiang province on June 14 and according to organizers it will run to Oct 7.
Covering an area of 1,000 square meters, the exhibition is displaying a treasure trove of murals, sculptures, antiques and artworks related to the Silk Road.
Organizers say the exhibition, which is arranged in four units, boasts exhibits with significant historical, cultural and artistic value.
As one of the most comprehensive ever murals exhibition highlighting the Silk Road, the exhibition also offers visitors a complete picture of the excitement and mystery behind the ancient trading network linking China with the West, through an interactive experience of light and sound.
