Jiande Aviation Town in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, is witnessing a growing amount of visitors who come to experience skydiving since the town launched the first skydiving base in East China in July 2017.

In recent years, tourism has become a new engine powering the economy of Jiande Aviation town with an array of operation modes, including theme parks, skydiving, helicopter tour, and hot air balloon sightseeing.

The town welcomed more than 4,000 domestic and foreign visitors in 2018.

Since the beginning of this year, the town has received 427,000 tourists and generated tourism revenue of 15.17 million yuan ($2.2 million), up 39.2 percent and 43.5 percent respectively compared to last year.
