Yohoo Park in Yuhang district, Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, has won the New Park Project category for the Asia-Pacific region in the 2026 World Urban Parks Awards, making it the province's only winning project.

The awards are presented by World Urban Parks, an international organization focused on urban parks, open spaces, and recreation. The 2026 awards cover five regions — Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and North America — and recognize outstanding parks, projects, and individuals in the field.

The park spans 37.41 hectares, including 14.54 hectares of water. It combines ecological recreation, culture and art, and commercial services, functioning as an open-air art space without walls or ceilings.

A 25.9-kilometer network of walking and cycling trails connects four functional zones for ecological conservation, cultural activities, sports, and waterfront recreation. The network links nearby communities, commercial areas, transport hubs, and public services, creating a 15-minute park-based lifestyle circle.

The park also offers child-friendly facilities, accessible amenities, multilingual guides, and services supporting diverse lifestyles. Its smart management system integrates security, lighting, running tracks, and visual monitoring. Additionally, a drone food delivery service has been launched, boosting delivery efficiency by 200 percent over traditional methods.

Since opening in November 2024, Yohoo Park has received about 10 million visits and helped increase foot traffic at nearby businesses by 40 percent. With water sports, urban camping, family recreation, markets, and cultural events, the park has become a popular urban destination combining ecology, culture, leisure, and commerce.
