The fifth Global Digital Trade Expo, China's only national-level and global exhibition dedicated to digital trade, will be held from Sept 23 to 27 in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province.

The expo will feature a theme pavilion, six specialized industrial zones, and a digital trade innovation and integration zone, ranging from AI chips and quantum computing to low-altitude aircraft, brain-computer interfaces, and zero-carbon industrial parks.

The theme pavilion will highlight frontier trends, international cooperation, and corporate practices, with Hangzhou's leading technology companies attending alongside a broader innovation lineup showcasing new technologies and products making their global or industry debuts.

International participation will be a highlight, with Malaysia serving as the guest country of honor alongside exhibitors and organizations from Hungary, Peru, BRICS countries, the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, Smart Africa, and other international groups.

Six specialized zones will showcase practical applications of digital technologies, with the AI zone demonstrating how data, computing power, and models are integrated into real-world business scenarios, and the smart mobility zone featuring emerging air-mobility equipment and new electric vehicles.

Other zones will focus on cross-border e-commerce, smart healthcare, digital entertainment, and urban operations, featuring AI-enabled trade solutions, wearable devices, brain-computer interfaces, Chinese cultural content, digital platforms, and AI-powered urban governance.
