The 16th Yifa Global Fashion Exchange opened in Hangzhou on Aug 28, bringing together overseas buyers from France, Italy, and more than 30 other countries and regions.

The event showcased new autumn and winter collections, including Chinese-style fashion and high-end downwear, through immersive theatrical runway shows. It also featured a Chinese-style fashion salon and brand showcases, aiming to help local women's fashion brands secure overseas orders.

Zheng Nianhua, vice-president of the China National Garment Association and president of the Zhejiang Garment Industry Association, said the event provides a platform for industry exchange and business matchmaking. He urged industry participants to make full use of the platform, identify opportunities through cooperation, and pursue growth by embracing innovation.

A series of runway shows covered high-end downwear, knitwear, and coats, new Chinese-style fashion, and other categories, highlighting original designs, fabrics, and products from Hangzhou's women's fashion industry.

A fashion salon was also held in the afternoon, gathering brand representatives, fashion experts, and buyers from China and abroad to discuss trends and opportunities in the women's fashion market.
