The fifth Global Digital Trade Expo is set to be held from Sept 23 to 27 in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, bringing together quantum computing, brain-computer interfaces, eVTOL aircraft, and AI-powered trade tools to demonstrate how digital technologies are moving from prototypes into commercial and everyday applications.

The expo will feature a main exhibition hall, six specialized zones, and an innovation zone, with exhibitors showcasing technologies designed for interactive, practical uses.

The main hall will bring together Hangzhou's leading technology companies, with debuts including a full-stack neutral-atom quantum computer, a hybrid-driven dexterous hand, and Unitree Robotics' GD01, a transforming passenger vehicle.

An AI zone will highlight domestic computing chips, large models, and quantum technologies, while a smart mobility zone will feature eVTOL aircraft and other next-generation transport technologies.

A Silk Road E-commerce zone will showcase nearly 30 AI tools for cross-border trade, and a smart healthcare zone will feature surgical robots, exoskeletons, brain-computer interfaces, and AI-assisted traditional Chinese medicine.

A smart entertainment zone will combine popular Chinese TV series with XR and generative AI, including The Three-Body Problemand Swords into Plowshares, while the expo's spatial intelligence zone will focus on digital platforms, smart city management, and low-carbon buildings.
