At Hangzhou East Railway Station in eastern Zhejiang province, there is a train that never leaves, yet it helps countless travelers get home with greater peace of mind.

Known as the warm-heart special train "Star Guardian" (Xingchen Shouhu Hao), this old-style green train runs every night from 10 pm to 8 am as a free rest space for passengers arriving late. It has four carriages covering 280 square meters, with 126 reclining electric sofas equipped with lumbar support and headrests, plus constant-temperature air conditioning, hot water, charging points and real-time train information screens.

The care goes even further. Passengers can reserve seats online and the system provides a voice reminder 40 minutes before departure. Thick blankets, a first aid kit, one-tap assistance and a women-friendly carriage all add thoughtful support.

This train does not depart, but it brings real warmth to every journey home.
