Ahead of the opening of the fifth session of the 12th Hangzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Jan 20, a Members' Channel media briefing was held in Hangzhou.

Five CPPCC members from across society shared insights on key public concerns and their work priorities.

The speakers highlighted accelerating medical AI to enable breakthroughs in high-end medical equipment, leveraging the CPPCC platform to turn grassroots insights into effective economic policy proposals, and advancing rural vitalization through the integration of culture and tourism to solidify common prosperity.

They also emphasized making employment and entrepreneurship support more targeted and people-centered and boosting cultural innovation — from grassroots cultural services to the global reach of China's digital cultural products — so that creativity can better serve both local communities and international audiences.
