Hangzhou released the new regulations for maternity subsidies on December 22, and it was implemented on December 23. The maternity benefit involves three categories, such as maternity, childcare and three children, distributed in cash. The maternity and childbirth allowances for the second and third children are respectively 2,000 yuan and 5,000 yuan; the annual childcare subsidy for infants under three years old is 3,600 yuan; after the implementation of the new regulations, the families who give birth to three children will receive the one-time subsidy of 9,200 yuan. Eligible families registered in Hangzhou can file an application through “Zhejiang Government Affairs APP”.
