On December 2, Uzbekistan National Pavilion opened in Binjiang District, Hangzhou, focusing on e-commerce, internet, IoT, artificial intelligence and other fields, to build a bridge for economic and cultural exchange between China and Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan became a BRICS partner country in 2025. China Cooperation Center of BRICS Special Economic Zone was inaugurated in Hangzhou in March.

In 2026, China Hangzhou Pavilion will set up the reception centers in two cities in Uzbekistan, inviting more than 100 Chinese internet celebrities to visit Uzbekistan to shoot videos about cultural tourism and cuisine. Hangzhou launches a series of activities to deepen the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
